I Dreamed

9/08/2008

I was on a trail, high above the desert floor in some cliffs. I came to a gap in the trail. If I wanted to continue, I needed to cross the gap, which was very deep, though not very wide. I decided to leap across because there was a polar bear and a crow on the other side, and I wanted to be next to them. On the other side of the gap, it was winter, snowy and beautiful. There were many people there, and they all bossed me around. I felt comfortable sitting in a snow cave, but everyone kept telling me I would have to keep a close watch on the time and move along when necessary.

I drank wine with David. I poured him a glass of pinot noir from a bottle that had been open for a long time. It was a pale orange color. He grimaced as he drank it, but I thought it tasted fine. I told him he was more of a cabernet man.

Ew! Pale-orange Pinot Noir! Sounds nasty!

When I began to read the dream, I thought it would end with you falling down a cliff into a patch of poison ivy.

Nope, no poison plants, just icky wine.
